Kat In The Attic....Illustrator, Lover Of Colour And Tea EnthusiastWelcome to Kat in the Attic, I am not really a Cat and unfortunately do not live in the attic anymore, this is not really a problem though as this is not where the name came from. The name came from a time when I was babysitting, a lot, and had to read The Cat In The Hat every night. I thought why can't I have a name like that, its fun and relatively simple too, someone then suggested Kat In The Attic and it sort of stuck. I like it though :) I feel like it sounds like a place where adventures are written and lost treasure maps are found.
I am a big believer in the amazing influence art and colour can have on our world, the world may sometimes be dark but art of all forms can always take you out of that, a good book, a TV show you adore etc and art in all its forms helps to bring these things to life. As an illustrator my task is clear to create an image that will draw you to your next favourite thing, whether it's in advertising, books, magazines or comic books. I will always do my best to make your art, your story be told and seen in the most vibrant and colourful manner. So feel free to have a look around and you might even find that lost treasure map.
